Overview
This Swiss chard makes a great spinach substitute and it is a long standing and easy to grow green. This slim stalked, smooth leaf Swiss chard is quite hardy and prolific supplying a "perpetual" harvest of succulent leaves from spring through fall.
Perpetual Spinach is much slower to bolt during the hot weather and long days of summer than real spinach.
Approximately 50 days to harvest. Known botanically as Beta vulgaris cicla.
