Overview
This special formula promotes rapid seed germination. This is the recommended coir growing medium for Wollemi Pine.
Seed Raising block Premium Coir Seed Raising Mix is a concentrated mix of 100% organic and biodegradable coir husk coco peat formulated for high water retention and aeration.
Coir expands to hold up to 5 times its weight in water but it does not shed water or shrink like peat moss. Despite holding so much water it also has a high air porosity providing excellent aeration. It also has a high nutrient holding capacity. Balanced pH and Organic Nature Mixes Well with Other Raw Materials in the Growing Medium
Coir (the fiber and husk byproduct of the coconut) is a renewable substitute for mined peat moss. Also Known As: Coco Peat
