Scarlet Runner bean is an attractive climbing annual that makes a great ornamental climbing vine and provides tasty edible pods.

Scarlet flowers in showy clusters make this a colorful bean vine. Edible beans are used when young as a snap bean or later shelled and cooked as a lima bean.
