Overview
Not a true bean, but a relative of the Mung Bean and Cowpea. The Yard Long Bean flavor is more like asparagus than that of regular beans. Steam, stir fry or use in soups.
Yard Long bean pods can grow a yard but are best if eaten at the 12-16 inches in length. It can be cut and used as a snap bean.
